When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a bcrypt hash via Supabase). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessary to perform the contract (providing you access to your account).
When you explicitly save a product calculation, that data (product name, materials, costs, labour, and pricing outputs) is stored in our database. We only store data you deliberately save — nothing is stored automatically. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessary to provide the service you subscribed to.
Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC, USA). We do not receive or store your full card details. Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record, meaning they handle all payment processing and applicable tax compliance. Their privacy policy applies to payment data: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not share data with advertising networks. Data collected is aggregated and anonymous (page views, referrers, device types). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in understanding site usage to improve the service.
Our hosting provider Vercel automatically logs standard server information (IP addresses, browser type, request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for profiling. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of pricingcalc.eu and any associated services, including the free tier and paid Pro subscription. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Pricing Calculator is a web-based tool that helps makers, artists, and small businesses calculate and track product pricing. Features include:
To use Pro features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You agree not to share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent limits.
The Pro plan is billed monthly at €2.99/month (or the price displayed at checkout). Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as Merchant of Record. All payment processing, invoicing, and applicable tax collection is handled by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
As an EU consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from contracts concluded online. However, because access to the Pro service begins immediately upon subscription, by proceeding with your purchase you explicitly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of the service, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
If you have not yet used the Pro features after subscribing, you may contact us within 14 days to request a full refund at our discretion.

The Pricing Calculator software, design, and brand (including the UNPAID name) are our intellectual property. Your saved product data belongs to you — we claim no ownership over it.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Pro tier, we will refund any unused subscription period.
The service is provided "as is." Pricing outputs generated by the calculator are for informational purposes only — they do not constitute financial, accounting, or legal advice. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on calculator outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by German law. For consumers in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses minimal local browser storage strictly necessary for the service to function, and privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies.

Under the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in German law), a cookie consent banner is required only when non-essential cookies are used. Because we use only technically necessary storage and cookieless analytics, no consent banner is legally required. If you add any third-party scripts in future (e.g. Google Analytics, social embeds), you would need to add a consent mechanism before those scripts load.
You can clear all local browser storage at any time through your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached data and cookies). This will log you out of your account.
